The COVID-19 Outbreak: What LSNE is Doing to Help Local Communities

LSNE cares deeply about each of the communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn what LSNE is doing to help.

March 30, 2020, As part of LSNE’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) efforts and working to support our communities during the COVID-19 health crisis, we donated vital PPE to healthcare workers and first responders through the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development, SACYL the Health Department of Junta de Castilla y Leon, the State of Wisconsin DES and the NYU Lagone Health Care System.

March 27, 2020, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu announced a stay-at-home order for non-essential workers until May 4, 2020. As is consistent with our other facilities, LSNE is deemed essential. LSNE-Bedford employees residing in New Hampshire have been issued an ‘essential business’ letter to be kept with them during their commute to the LSNE-Bedford facilities. LSNE continues to protect its employees as production continues, therefore, non-production staff are working remotely until further notice.

The State of Massachusetts which borders New Hampshire, as of March 23, 2020, announced the closing of non-essential businesses, until April 7, 2020 and extended the order until May 4, 2020. LSNE-Bedford employees residing in Massachusetts have been issued an ‘essential business’ letter to be kept with them during their commute to the LSNE-Bedford facilities.

March 23, 2020, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers ordered the closure of all non-essential businesses and urged people to stay home. LSNE’s production facilities and laboratories qualify as essential services, therefore, the Madison, Wisconsin facility supporting drug production will remain operational. Like LSNE’s other facilities there have been modifications to best serve the community and remain in accordance to government mandates. All non-production support personnel are working remotely to ensure manufacturing and QC support while minimizing potential risks of transmission.

March 14, 2020, Spain has been under emergency declaration to combat the spread of COVID-19. Our facility in León, Spain is deemed essential, therefore, operations will continue. To protect our employees and align with government guidance all non-production personnel are working remotely to ensure manufacturing and QC support while minimizing potential risks of transmission.
